In Auckland City there are 15 BBH hostels. Auckland is NZ's largest city complete with NZs largest backpackers. The hostels listed below are mainly small to medium size and owner operated. Most of the BBH hostels are located on the central city fringe, close enough for convenience but avoiding the downside of downtown. There's one near the Airport, three more on the Northern outskirts 30-45 minutes drive away, two to the South and an Island option in the Gulf, a ferry ride away. BBH Backpacker Hostels in

FOR ARRIVALS AT AUCKLAND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - USE THE BBH FREEPHONES Use the BBH Freephones located next to the Airport Information Centre just outside the Arrivals Hall to book a bed at the BBH hostel of your choice. The hostel will advise the best form of transport to take. You can also pick-up a free copy of the BBH Backpacker Accommodation Guide at the Airport Information Centre, if you left home without it.
